Cantwell & McGavick on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

Like many races across the country, the Washington State senate race, between Democratic incumbent Maria Cantwell and Republican challenger Mike McGavick has been closely watched by pundits as a possible flashpoint in the battle for control of Congress.

Today's Seattle Times includes a synopsis of the two candidates on the issues. Here's where each stands:

Cantwell ". . . opposes the military's 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy that excludes known homosexuals from serving . . . "

McGavick ". . . supports the military's 'Don't ask, don't tell' policy."
